July 2019 Prayer Diary

No doubt you have prayed this prayer many times as you have sought what God would have you do in a certain situation or more broadly as an expression of your commitment to living God's way.

It is also a prayer that we utter regularly at Korus Connect; we seek to be God-led in all our decision-making as well as in our day-to-day interactions. As we complete our three-year strategic plan, it is not completely clear where God would have us go; although we have faith and a quiet confidence that He will teach us His ways, show us His paths, and guide us in His truth if we ask Him in humility and faith.

We appreciate your prayer support as we wait on the Lord 'expectantly'. We do expect Him to answer us and show us clearly where to walk - believing He will do just that because of these truths revealed in the word of God, our best source of guidance. When we wait on God we demonstrate a spirit of trust and humility, loving obedience, hope and confidence, a most intimate friendship and the deepest reverence for our Creator.

However, we know waiting doesn't necessarily mean abstaining from all activity, and it can be frustrating. It just means we stay obedient to God and committed to following in His ways. By faith we know that He is working out His purposes which will be revealed in His perfect timing.

Blessings on you as you partner with us in prayer, seeking for yourselves and us, hearts that are fully committed and trusting in God.
