How do you support a virtual office, staffed by remote workers? The Korus Connect virtual office is being well-supported in a myriad of ways.

2020 is a year like no other.

Our School Chaplains have navigated new challenges in 2020, with schools oscillating between face-to-face and remote classes, learning and pastoral care.

Korus Connect’s Community Connector Merrilyn serves residents, staff and families in a regional aged care complex, which has not experienced a COVID-19 outbreak.

Impact is achieved when we work together to build communities that are connected, supported and whole.

How does a Community Connector maintain social connections with people in a world that is social distancing to mitigate the spread of COVID-19?

Congratulations to the Bendigo Support Group for enabling 50 years of continuous Chaplaincy in a number of the local schools!

In April 2018, a Community Connector position was introduced in a Colac aged care facility to provide pastoral care, social connection and generally support the wellbeing of senior residents.

It is opportune that we voice our collective wisdom gleaned from 70 years of serving in School Chaplaincy, SRI and more recently, Community Connector roles.
