Korus Connect Submission

Korus Connect has made a formal submission to the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System. It is opportune that we voice our collective wisdom gleaned from 70 years of serving in School Chaplaincy, SRI and more recently, Community Connector roles.

Our submission conveyed the importance of a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing, which honours the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of an individual. A coordinated, collaborative and proactive approach to wellbeing by service providers is also essential.

Korus Connect has identified social disconnection, manifesting as loneliness, as a key contributor to the challenges that individuals and communities face, including on mental and physical wellbeing.
